To be honest; the idea of hybrid is doable; but from your experience now/need in talent tree I'm guessing you are choosing talents based on Soloability (not a real word I think)

generally you should not be worrying about putting talent points to the following

might, conviction, 2h weapon spec.

Merely because your white damage (non spell related melee damage)
will be severly reduced due to the conflicting use of 1 hand over 2 hand (since you had points in redoubt .

Meaning that you'd probably be using a shield; and you'd probably be using a one hander;

Seal of Command is almost a MUST for a ret pally; which highly depends on activation with large big hit slow weapons; (there is a formulae that shows slow weapons proc seal of command more often)
which contradicts the use of reckoning; because not only will you be able to take the hits to proc reckoning, but by the time reckoning actually procs, you'll only ever be able to get that 1 extra hit "maybe" out of the 4 given (maybe not even)

basically, spreading out talent points over 3 talent trees is not advisable; any hybrid build should have majority focus into one tree and have a few points put into another; since you have a few protective points but are not viable as a tank; you have a few ret points but aren't fully viable as a dpser, and you have points spent in holy but are not able to heal efficiently; Plus you'll have a hard time picking armor aha.

with that being said; patch is today; and if you are interested in going into the retribution spectrum; I have a pretty solid knowledge on how to achieve a certain end of dps, being that Sanura; contrary to popular belief was actually not always prot; but retribution.

here is what a good ret build for pve and raiding would look like http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=sZaxVZic0t0IufrsgzAo

Not bad the Hybrid spec of Shockadin might be useable for raid caster dps or heals when the expansion is fully released so i might be looking into Shockadin for some pve or pvp type situations.

it can also be caster dps such that maybe we can have that second oppening in WotLK for the hybrid specs to shine other then in pvp.
